Join a team that is dedicated to providing the best veterinary medicine with a hometown feel that everyone can appreciate!

Our small animal practices are privately owned by Allison Baird, DVM, who started Pine Hollow Veterinary Services in January 2017.  She began her career in the veterinary field at 15 years of age as a kennel assistant where her passion began to grow. The clinics of Albion Animal Center, Animal Hospital of Meadville, Animal Hospital of Orwell and Western Reserve Animal Clinic make up the Pine Hollow family that she has nurtured into one of the leading veterinary practices in Northwest Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio.

Just look at our mission statement:

“Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care for our patients while being mindful of our clients' financial obligations.  Every client and patient that walks through our door are considered family. Each will feel at home, comfortable, and confident that we will offer all options available in both preventive and diagnostic medicine.  We recognize that each patient is unique and requires special attention so together we can choose the avenue that best suits the needs of our clients and patients.”

Our staff strives to lead each day by our slogan of “Where our passion is paved with pawprints.”

Our core values represent who we are, both inside and outside of the clinic.

Education - We strive to educate all of our clients in any matter concerning their beloved pet so that together we can provide the best possible care.

Service - We are not only here to serve our clients and patients but also the surrounding communities in which our clinics are located.

Honesty - Not only are we always honest with our clients about their pet’s conditions and treatment plans, we are also honest with our co-workers as well.

Good Medicine - We will strive to always provide the best standard of care of medicine that we possibly can.

Why choose us?

Our dynamic Pine Hollow team is composed of caring veterinary professionals who have chosen this field based on their passion and care for animals.  We value and appreciate all of our team members and encourage a positive working environment with an open-door policy. We expect our staff to come to us with new ideas or any concerns they may have. If we do not know, we cannot fix it.

While working at Pine Hollow, we provide our team with training and collaboration throughout the year.  Our goal is to invest in every staff member.  At hiring, we pair a mentor to a new staff member to ease them into their new position and provide a contact for future questions or concerns. We also have monthly staff meetings, CE opportunities and provide rewards when reaching goals to help motivate staff and keep everyone informed. We believe in still having Christmas and birthday parties, bringing baked goods to work, or meeting up after work for a jog around town. We embrace moments of fun and laughter in and out of clinics that strengthen the bond between staff members.

We believe in best medicine. Our practices engage in the latest technologies, including digital and panoramic dental x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, a full diagnostic laboratory and collaboration with telemedicine, a certified veterinary chiropractor, and a traveling ultrasonographer.

Patient care and client education are important aspects to our veterinary practices.  We provide best medicine and allow our clients to be part of the diagnostic decision-making process.  Because of this, our patient’s care is of the highest quality. Our staff takes time with our clients to explain preventative care and treatments so they have an understanding about their pet’s health and well-being. When financial concerns are brought into the equation, treatment options are presented to our clients in order for them to make the decision that best suits their pet’s medical needs. We also have cost saving programs that reward our clients, enabling savings that can be used on their pets and in the end, keep our patients healthy.

Where do we live?

We live in an area that offers many opportunities for all lifestyles. We have the choice to take a Sunday stroll down Main Street or ride our side-by-side down a country road and witness all that nature has to offer.  You can find the staff at the beach in the summer or hiking a trail in the fall amongst the beautiful colored leaves.  We value our winters and the many snow adventures of skiing, snowboarding, skating, or a fun neighborhood snowball fight.

Come and enjoy the low cost of living our region provides along with the many opportunities for outdoor recreation on beautiful Lake Erie and in the Allegheny National Forest, while still being in proximity of the cities of Cleveland, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Erie.

We are fortunate to live by surrounding waterways and great outdoor spaces which provides numerous forms of entertainment and exploration throughout the year.  Our communities stay active with festivals, great food, charming shores, and beautiful sunsets by our beaches along Lake Erie.  The waterways are able to provide year-long experiences as the seasons change with our area.  Some of the most peaceful days are visits to our local parks and trails, that feature some of the nicest rolling acres in our area. Enjoy days of sun by yourself or with your family for lazy days on the beach in the summer or snowshoeing through trails of snow covered pines in the winter.

The importance of community, investing in youth, and being a neighbor is strong in the area that we live.  Friday night football games, church picnics, winter bowling leagues, and adult softball teams keep fellowship and neighborly commitment strong. Our county fairs showcase 4-H and FFA projects along with the agriculture of local farmers and homesteaders.  Citizens of all ages showcase their talents on our local stages through theater or live music performances. Our school systems are diverse in public or private education opportunities that excel in standards in both states. We value the importance of giving back and taking care of the area that we reside.  We invest in youth activities, school functions, and organizations that strengthen the people surrounding our veterinary practices.
